We stayed at this cozy lodge after a day of hiking to the Seven Rila Lakes. The staff was friendly and gave us helpful hiking tips. The sauna was clean and relaxing, and the restaurant served delicious food. The breakfast selection was perfect and made with local products. Our room was comfortable and clean. Paying with a card was convenient. Hunting Residence Lodge provided excellent facilities and a peaceful atmosphere.

The breakfast offerings could be improved, especially the eggs and ham which were served cold.

The bathroom is quite small and the shower setup may lead to a wet floor.

One evening, it was my birthday and the staff surprised me with a cake, fireworks, and a heartfelt rendition of the Happy Birthday song. It was truly a special moment that I will never forget. The sauna facilities were excellent, with a dry sauna, wet sauna, and hamam available for relaxation. The balconies provided a perfect spot to enjoy the beautiful nature and fresh air. The breakfast, although limited in choice, was delicious and filling. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing getaway.

The location is perfect for hiking the Rila Lakes, with secure and free parking in front of the hotel. the rooms are well-appointed and the breakfast has a big variety, including homemade jams and pastries. the staff is very friendly and accommodating, ensuring a pleasant stay. the hotel is set within a tranquil forested area, providing a peaceful atmosphere.

Some people might find the stuffed animals in the hotel, which are personal trophies of the owner, to be off-putting.

Enjoyed the free WiFi to share my hiking selfies, loved the views of trees and trees, the buffet breakfast was good fuel for my outdoor adventures.

The weather prevented us from visiting the seven lakes, which was a major disappointment. Additionally, the language barrier was a bit challenging as some staff members did not speak much English.

The shower in the bathroom was a bit of an inconvenience. It was not separated, so everything in the bathroom would get wet during a shower.
